Lab Instances for Admin Course

For the past three days my lab instance was hibernating and wouldn't wake up, even after 20 minutes. I used the virtual agent and it asked me if I wanted to terminate my instance and I clicked NO, and then it said it kept my current instance. However, my instance was terminated... Why did my instance not wake up everytime I tried to do so! Also, is all of my progress  gone?? I was on lab 5.1. Extremely frustrated.
