Need Help Displaying External Link Under Topic Menu

Hi,

I created a content item and set it as an external link, but instead of showing under the topic menu dropdown, it appears as a regular catalog item. How can I make the link appear in the topic dropdown instead?

Current look

this is how I want it to show for example:

Hi,

Instead of creating a content item, you can simply create a quick link under that taxonomy to display the external link.

1) Make sure you create first the quick link in "Quick Links" Menu option on the backend.

2) Then go to the taxonomy you want to put the Quick Link, on the related lists you have a Quick Link,  click "New" -> select the Quick Link you created above.

Hope this helps

I created the taxonomy named System Links however for some reason it's not showing. I am missing something not sure what

For the created Quick Link you need to set the "Available for" the audience/user criteria you add or create, will need to the user that is accessing the topic. If you set for example "Available for all users" it will make it available.

Sometimes for audiences/ user criterias to apply you need to relog or impersonate, this should refresh the cache.

Hope this helps!

I have seen cache issues when testing new topics and sometimes I have to impersonate another user or use incognito mode to see the changes.

I see there are other content types connected to the topic.  Are they active and accessible by the logged in user?
