Portal Widget for Related Topics

Looking for a Widget to show all Related Topics for knowledge articles. I see that the Related Knowledge Articles has its own table (kb_2_kb) and Catalog to Knowledge (kb_2_sc) but there seems to be no widget to show content from the related lists table (m2m_connected_content)

In my case I would like to display all Topics related to a Knowledge Article. This could be useful for anything related to Topics suck as Catalog items..

If there is nothing available I suppose we will need to build something. Given Topics are the life blood of the Employee Centre navigation and that one item could be related to multiple Topics a widget to display all related Topics would be of great value.

I have had a look and cannot find any widgets which are based on the Connected Content (Related Lists) tables.

Hi,

Unfortenately there is no way that articles can be publish directly on a Topic level by a knowledge writer. Always a topic owner should be between to set the connection. This is the case in Tokyo and San Diego environment. 

We are facing the same issue that there is no link between a catalog and a Topic. Can you please share your solution when you figure a nice customization :-).

You can do this. On Knowledge form add the related list for Topic "Connected Content>Knowledge".

This allows the knowledge editor to relate Topics to the knowledge article.

That solution doesnt looks not working. see screenshot below where i inserted your suggested field:

I getting errors like this when i publish more then 1 new article to the same topic.
