Prevent video to be downloaded in Video Carousel widget.

Hi all,
I have an requirement to prevent the download option in video carousel widget.

For now I have just uploaded a video on portal in Video Carousel widget. But it's showing option to dowload.
Pls guide.

If we clone the VD Carousel Widget and  make specific changes , It will effect anything?
Example:

1.Adding Video with Rich Content

2.People can able to add videos to the Widget?

It won't get any updates during upgrades, so you run the risk of it no longer working after an upgrade, or you need to apply the changes on the OOB widget also to your custom one.
