Hello,
Would appreciate advice on how to manage transition from ec_dashboard to ec_pro_home page in terms of users who might have saved xxxxxx.service-now.com/esc?id=ec_dashboard as favourite in their browser.
I tested this in sub-prod by first saving the link xxxxxx.service-now.com/esc?id=ec_dashboard as favourite in Edge.
Then I replaced Home page in Service Portal : ec_dashboard (old) to ec_pro_home (new). URL suffix is esc.
If I go to my favourite saved link, obviously currently it opens xxxxxx.service-now.com/esc?id=ec_dashboard.
What would be the best practice to deal with this - to ensure that ec_dashboard is no longer used by users?
Thanks in advance.

Option 1:
If users have saved the ec_dashboard URL directly to their ServiceNow Favorites, removing sharing won't automatically remove the link from their menu, but clicking it will result in a "Sorry!" message.
- Navigate to System Definition > Favorites // sys_ui_bookmark.list
- Search for ec_dashboard in the URL or Title field or if you can search by your identified user
- Delete the relevant records.
2.
- Navigate to Self-Service > Dashboards
- Search for the ec_dashboard.
- Click the Hamburger Menu (Three lines) in the top right > Dashboard Properties.
- Click the Sharing button.
- Remove everyone, specific groups, or roles that currently have access.
