Removing attachments from search engine-Employee Service center

Hey All,

 

I have a need to exclude attachments from the search results in the Employee Center on the search engine. My objective is to specifically view pertinent Knowledge Base articles and Request Items (RITMs), excluding any associated attachments.

 

Does anyone know how it can be controlled?

Hey @Charishma M2 

If you navigate to AI Search -> AI Search Index -> Index Sources you can see what tables are being indexed for your AI Search. 

 

If you look into the indexes like Knowledge, you may see child tables or mappings related to attachments. Here is where you can disable the indexing for attachments. 

 

Note its always worth running a full reindex after changing these settings
