Hello everyone,
We have a requirement to update the announcement interval time from 5 seconds to 30 seconds in the cloned portal's announcement widget. This change will enable announcements in the portal to cycle every 30 seconds, allowing users more time to read through them, as 5 seconds is too fast.
I tried to adjust the announcement carousel interval time in the client script from 1000*10 to 3000*10, but it doesn't appear to be effective. Are there any other locations where I should modify this value?
