We have a requirement to show all catalog forms in one place as finding them under different topic pages will be tedious without knowing what name they are called in the new system. Is there any out of box widget that shows all catalog forms in one place?
Thanks,
Raj

In my opinion, depending on the number of catalog items, showing them all in one place is a poor user experience and defeats the purpose of the topic-driven browsing experience.
I would also suggest adding meta to the catalog items to provide more relevant search results, which could also be impacted by using AI Search.
To answer your question, I don't know an OOB widget to show all catalog items in one place.
Good luck!

Hello @Raj56 ,
You can create a quick link with the content type page, and in the page select sc_category. SS:
In the portal, when someone clicks on the "Request Something" quick link, they are able to see all catalogs.
Thank you!

@Raj56 This is where there is a bit of mindset change required with Employee Center.
There is no immediate requirement, or even need to have all your Catalog items as part of topics.
Remember:
1) Your Mega Menu comes with a 'Browse Catalog' button. This will let users get to the catalog and browse in a familiar experience , utilising categories etc.
2) AI Search with Employee Center is very powerful. Users can just search what they need, and have it return pretty quickly.
Definitly look to take advantage of topics and the taxonomy, it's an incredible piece of enhanced user experience. Just remember your not rebuilding or migrating your Service Catalog into the Taxonomy, you are deciding and designing what would be useful for your users to navigate and find 🙂

Hi @Raj56,
There is an OOB widget 'Catalog Content' which shows all the catalog items at one place. I added that widget to my pdi ESC portal just below 'Current Status' widget and this is how it looks. You might need to remove the categories and customise the widget a bit if you don't want the catalog items to appear with any category. In this way, all the catalog items can appear in one place.
I can also suggest you few turn arounds to achieve the requirement.
1. If you check the ServiceNow Employee Center portal, there is a widget 'Popular topics'. You can clone that widget and customise it accordingly to include all the catalog items.
2. You can also use the Portal header menu functionality to include all the catalog items under one menu. Check out this product doc more information.
Thanks,
Shreya
