Topics Mega Menu not showing translated names (Employee Center)

We recently upgraded to Employee Center. I took some time creating Topics and translating these into our native language. In the backend this all works nicely.

In Employee center, in the topics Mega Menu, these names are not translated. Is there somewhere I can change this or do I have to translate somewhere else?

How I did the translations: First I created all the topics in English. Then I set my language to Dutch, and changed the name field entry.

Oddly enough Quick Links are translated correctly.

I found the issue, it was an error on our side. We have the wrong taxonomy linked to empoyee center, and older version that was not yet translated. Thank you for your reply!

@Bart Jan Bultman,

If you've performed the translations, you may need to log out and log back in (in a different language) as the browser cache will hold on to them in English if the page has been viewed in the same user session. Sadly this is where a cache.do won't solve it either I'm afraid,

Hope you're well.

I got the same issue of you. As you ,the différent topics don't translate . I must log out before to see changing on my screen. I tried with Quick Links as you and it works very well (no need to log out)

 

But the topic dont change. I check the configuration of my taxonomie . I think that it correctly linked to employee center.

So I want to know with your solution.

with your solution, does the tractuctions apply automatically? Without having to disconnect?

If so how did you get there?

Also What do you hear by "older version".

 

In this capture, I had choose French directly by clicking on the flag. And After,I changed into English. But As you can see. The Topics are still in French.

@JEAN PHILIPPE D, could you try a "cache.do", and also could you confirm what version of ESC you have installed (for core and any subsequent dependent apps),
