Update the notification text color on ESC Portal

Hi,

We have made few customizations to the ESC portal header, which impacting the notification bell icon on the portal, OOB bell icon color is white and we customized our header background color to white which conflicting.

I have cloned the OOB bell icon widget "ec-notifications-bell" and updated the bell icon color but still when I click on the bell Icon the notification text is coming up as white which is not visible so I have cloned the "ec-notifications-tray" widget but when I do any changes on the cloned widget (hr-ec-notifications-tray) widget and portal getting stuck and not able make changes, Can someone please suggest where to make changes to change the text color.

To fix the issue with the notification text color from what you say above:

  1. Check CSS in Cloned Widget: In the hr-ec-notifications-tray widget, look for the text color properties (like .notification-text) and update them to a visible color.

  2. Update Background Color: If the background is white, change the notification tray’s background to a darker color (like background-color: #333).

  3. Inspect for Conflicts: Use your browser’s Inspect tool to check if any global CSS is overriding your changes.

  4. Clear Cache: If changes don’t appear, clear your browser cache or try Incognito Mode.
