I was surprised that when i opened employee center after few days IT is missing and HR came up

for reference see the screenshot below : find_real_file.png

Why IT is missing over there.

anyone have any idea.

I checked in the taxonomy it is active and order given as 100.

But i am not sure why it has been missed over there?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you,

Shiva

Hi Shiva,

Navigate to Content Taxonomy> Topics > Look for the topic called "IT"

find_real_file.png

find_real_file.png

Now, From above image, if you see "Taxonomy is Employee", make sure you have the same configuration.

You can validate what you can see in the Employee center Taxonomy mega menu by:

Navigate to Content Taxonomy> Taxonomies > Employee > open this record, scroll down and check the child topics.

Hi,

Did this issue resolve for you.? I can see the the thread is marked as "Accepted solution", however I am not sure if that's exactly the problem.

I am having somewhat similar issue - I had new parent topic under my 'cloned' taxonomy (clone of OOB Employee taxonomy) created, however as per some business decision, I have to restucture it, So I disabled this new parent topic, and created another parent topic called "IT" under the same taxonomy. Now somehow this new topic is not displayed at all. I double verified "Active" status, and the taxonomy under which I create this latest (parent) topic, but no luck.

Please note: i have another previoulsy created parent topic under the same taxonomy, and that's visible as expected.

Any leads on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Sagar

Did you add connected content to the topic and or the child topic? This could resolve the issue since a topic without any connected content won't be displayed.
