Modification of Global Search in native view

Hi,

I need to modify the "Global Search" logic on backend so that no "sc_cat_item" results are returned by the searches. We also need to ensure that this restriction does not impact the employee center portal search logic.

but why would agents working in backend search catalog item in global search?

Hi Ankur,

The reason is that some users are currently using such results to raise SRs directly from backend instead of from Employee center. We want to restrict the users to raise it from backend / native view.

let them search in native but you can stop them from submitting from native using onSubmit catalog client script

glide.ui.no_text_search -> in this property add sc_cat_item table at the end
