Is it possible to do app location tracking for field service management agent mobile app?
Requirement: Kindly ensure location tracking is enabled, besides the device location, for a technician to accept any task.

Yes, it’s possible to enable location tracking in the ServiceNow Field Service Management (FSM) Mobile App
- Navigate to Field Service Management > Administration > Configuration.
- Ensure that Enable Geolocation Tracking is turned on
- then Modify Task Acceptance Rules
- Use the Mobile App Builder to configure the FSM mobile app
- Ensure the user roles associated with technicians (like
wm_agent
orwm_dispatcher
) have the required permissions to update and share their location data.
