The Smart Assessment Questionnaires documentation in Field Service Management (FSM) has been updated based on recent customer feedback, with a focus on improving discoverability of the feature and making it easier to access and complete questionnaires from Workspace. Here's a summary of the changes:

  1. Added three new concept topics under the Explore section to improve discoverability of questionnaires in FSM. The header topic, Questionnaires in Field Service Management, introduces the two types of questionnaires available in FSM — survey-based and smart assessment — and links to a reference topic comparing the two in detail, including which type is preferred and when. Of the two child topics, Smart assessment questionnaires is the primary focus of this update and includes use case examples to help readers understand where the feature fits into their workflows; the Survey-based questionnaires topic has also been added alongside it for completeness, with use case examples of its own.
  2. Added two new topics under the Use section to make it easier to access and complete questionnaires from Workspace:
  3. Renamed the Template Category field to Purpose in the Create a smart assessment template topic, to reflect the updated field label in the product UI. A note has been added explaining the change, and the field description is linked to an existing Smart Assessment Engine (SAE) topic on creating template categories/purpose for more specificity. Field Service is currently the only Purpose available out-of-the-box from FSM; additional template categories can only be created through Smart Assessment Engine, not FSM.
  4. Added a new procedural video to Create a smart assessment template, walking through the process of creating a smart assessment questionnaire template using the Field Service category, to give readers a visual, step-by-step reference alongside the written instructions.
  5. Updated the Activate and Enable topics under Configuring smart assessment questionnaires for Now Mobile Agent with relevant Related Links, to help readers navigate to associated configuration steps.
  6. Added the list of roles for smart assessment questionnaires and their capabilities to Smart Assessment components, under a new "Actions and roles required" heading, to consolidate role information in one reference location.
