Large Bank Improves Profits with ServiceNow ITSM

Posted by dedris Employee in IT Service Management

Recently, ServiceNow Global Services had the pleasure of working with a multinational banking and financial services company headquartered in Europe. This customer had some unique challenges they were facing as they had just established a new subsidiary to provide shared services across the banking group.

Due to this massive services consolidation, the new subsidiary inherited an ever-changing technology roadmap, and constantly expanding business requirements. To ensure the success of their new shared services strategy — and avoid any negative impact on ongoing business — this large bank needed a flexible, consistent IT architecture for service delivery. They decided to engage ServiceNow Global Services to help them achieve this goal and respond to the rapid change resulting from their growing operations.

After a 12-month project working with ServiceNow Global Services and its partners, the bank was able to see tremendous value, and was able to:

  • Gain transparency into IT spend, reducing costs, and increasing the profitability of their consumer banking products
  • Create a comprehensive technology roadmap for the new subsidiary, with ServiceNow ITSM acting as the foundational service architecture and providing a global service catalog for their global teams to leverage
  • Get the most out of their ServiceNow ITSM investment, working with ServiceNow and its partners to leverage proven methodologies and best practices
  • Increase visibility of operational risk — and the impact on their own organization and their customers
