Hi Community,
I am working with Advanced Risk Assessments and using Scripted Automated Factors for Control Assessments. I have a question regarding the "Schedule" option (e.g., Daily/Weekly) on the automated factor configuration:
If a Risk has already reached the "Assessed" or "Completed" state, will the daily schedule of a scripted factor still trigger and update the factor values if the underlying data changes?
Example Scenario:
- A control is initially marked as "Effective" during an assessment.
- The assessment moves to a "Completed" state, and the Residual Risk is calculated.
- A week later, the control becomes "Ineffective" in the system.
Will the Daily Schedule on the automated factor automatically re-run the script, update the factor response, and subsequently trigger a re-calculation of the Residual Risk score on that existing completed record? Or is the schedule only applicable for active assessments/new assessment generation?
I’m trying to understand if ServiceNow supports this "dynamic" point-in-time update for finished assessments or if a new assessment must be initiated to reflect these changes.
Thanks in advance for your insights!
