BCM -- BIA creation for a depatment

We are about to begin a Business Continuity Management (BCM) implementation for one of our clients. Below is a summary of their key requirements:

  • The client would like to create a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for a specific department.
  • Within this BIA, they intend to associate multiple business processes that are relevant to the selected department.
  • Assessments will be conducted for each associated process. Once these assessments are approved, the client would like to know if it’s possible to generate a PDF report summarizing the department, its associated processes, and the corresponding assessments.

We would appreciate any insights or guidance from the community on how best to approach this within ServiceNow BCM.

Hi there,

I believe completing the BCM course beforehand is extremely beneficial as it covers most of the foundational concepts and practical steps needed for implementations like this. Based on my experience, the course provides clarity on how to structure BIAs, associate business processes, conduct assessments, and even generate reports.
