I have been attempting to update dependencies on a continuity plan, but this process has been stating that is still running after more than 24 hours! This seems very unacceptable. Any ideas on how to actually make this work? #BCM

When you go into the plan from the BCM Workspace, did you select the scope tab, select the add primary scope button, then select the asset and add? (Screenshot below)
Once you've done that you should then select the update dependencies button.
If a BIA has been done for that asset AND if that BIA included dependencies, then those dependencies will be pulled in shortly after clicking the button.
If this answer solves your problem don't forget to mark it so others can get help with this same thing.

If it's taking too long to update, I would check your dependency update configuration record. It may be set to pull in everything from everywhere, and depending on your sources, that could take quite a while.
