Can BCP owners be same as BCP Approvers?

Hi All,

I need help to determine if BCP owners can be same as BCP approvers? I believe that they can be same for BIA but need to know if that’s possible for BCP too

in regards to roles management, there is no single universal rule and it should meet the specific needs and governance requirements of each organisation. It can vary between companies, industries, locations or other attributes..
From a good practice perspective I can imagine that a BCP owner and a BCP approver to be different individuals  to as this helps with separation of duties and to keep a degree of independence in the approval process.

However This decision should always align with the organisation’s internal policies and needs..
