We have an issue setting up GRC:Metrics where we have a Manual Metric Definition that requires Metric Data Tasks to be completed across multiple divisions of the company by different users.
The data owner field on the individual metrics is inherited from the Manual Metric Definition and cannot be changed meaning we need to setup multiple Metric Definitions for essentially the same Metric and lose the ability to aggregate.
We can manually assign the Metric Data Tasks to the correct users but this is very manual and volumes make this prohibitive each month.
Looking for any advice if people has experienced a similar issue.

Hi @christophe gera, @Ash70,
This is already addressed as part of the latest update (version 20.xx.xx). You can define a default data owner on the Metric definition which will be copied to all the metrics, which can also be overriden now. But more importantly, you can define configurations on how the data owner can be assigned dynamically based on your business logic. Please go through https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/yokohama-environmental-social-governance/page/product/metrics... for more details.
Thanks.

Hello,
I have exactly the same problem. In the meantime, have you found a solution?
Thank you

Hi Christophe
Unfortunately we haven't found a solution. It is such a poor design. We also have another issue that once the metric has been created and has metric data against it, there is no way to change the metric name. Really not helpful considering when a metric is generated from a Metric Definition it appends the name of the entity. If the entity name changes, there is no way to change the name of the metric to reflect that change. Again very poor design.
Sorry can't be of more help.
