Creating Indicator on Risk Record directly

Hey, I know we can generate indicator for Risk record by assigning indicator template to Risk statement. But my question is to create indicator directly on Risk record? Is there any impacts of it ?

Hello Bhoomi,

templates serve the purpose of automating the creation of risk indicators for the same risk identified for multiple different entities, also standardisation of the indicator being captured for those entities facing the same risk.

You're not forced to use risk indicator templates, you can create directly risk indicators on risks without a template, for instance if the indicator is only applicable to one specific entity. In terms of impact, apart from not getting the advantages of using templates, there's no negative impact since that's standard configuration of IRM.
