Hi,
Our customer is implementing Policy and Compliance Management and has a use case for grouping control attestations in the workspace in order to complete them in bulk. We followed the article “Grouping assessments for control attestations”, however, in the Compliance Workspace the Combine UI action is not visible, even though the user has the role sn_compliance_ws.corporate_compliance_analyst.
Steps to reproduce:
A user with the required role navigates to:
Compliance Workspace → Tasks → My Pending Tasks → Control Attestations
When selecting multiple assessment instances (ASMT) to combine, the Combine UI action is not available.
Could you please advise how to identify the conditions that control the visibility of this UI action?
Also, is there any recommended way to perform grouping of control attestations in the Compliance Workspace?
Thank you.

Had the same problem also on "Zurich". I fixed it and dont know how 😄
What i did:
- Updated the plugins (a few updates were missing).
- Went to Declarative Actions -> List Actions (For future: If you are looking for Workspace UI Actions, depending on where they are, you will find them there) -> Search "Combine" -> Click on advanced view
I deleted the ...actor role from the list and added it again. - No effect
- emptied the cache ("cache.do")
- No effect
- Logged back in 15 minutes later: Button is there
I dont know WHAT helped, and why I needed to log back in, but now i can see it again.

Hi Matthias,
thank you for your effort. I have reproduced the steps as you suggested. But I still cannot see the UI action in workspace.
