Hi,

In GRC Tiering assessment, after completing assessment instance the "Tiering score" is generated. I am not able to find how that "Tiering score" is generating. I searched so many product documents, but didn't find any answer. Can any one help me on this?

Here I am attaching screenshot of the assessment:

Appreciate for your help!

Hi Devi,

Vendor tiering scale and scoring calculations

Vendor tiering process
graphic depicts the vendor tiering questionnaire and the vendor tiering assesment in green boxes. The vendor tiering assessment points to the vendor tiering questionnaire. There is a large shaded arrow pointing to two yellow assessment instance boxes. Another large shaded arrow points to an orange tiering score box and a small arrow points to an orange vendor tier box.
  1. The tiering assessment initiates one assessment instance for each assigned assessor. The assessor sees only the sections assigned to them based on their role.
  2. The response scores from all assessment instances are averaged to provide the tiering score.
  3. The tiering score is mapped to the vendor tiering scale providing the vendor tier.
  4. This tier is assigned to the vendor when the tiering assessment is closed.

I did not find an official formula, it's just my understanding, hope it helps.

Let's say the tiering assessment has initiated two assessment instances, then:

Assessment Instance 1 Score + Assessment Instance 2 Score

   Tiering Score =   -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

                                                       2
