How to add field to workspace

Hi, 

I want to add field to workspace(as shown in the following image.). Hoping somebody can point me in the correct direction.

generally I can use the form layout function of the configure page to add fields, but unfortunately I can not use this method.I heard that it can be modified using ui builder, but unfortunately I don't know exactly where to modify it.

Hi there should be a view called as workspace. Did you try adding to this view?
