Hi. Wondering if it is possible to rename a risk after it has been created and saved. I don't have access to do it. Field is greyed out.
Thanks. Carlos

Hey Carlos,
When you say rename risk do you mean the number or short description? If you are planning on changing the number I would advise against that since it is generated by the system and renumbering it could result in records with duplicate numbers. As for the short description you should have access to change that but if you are unable to then you are either lacking the access or there is an ACL preventing you to update/write to that field and you only have Create and Read access to that field.

Dan/ Prassana - thanks for your responses.
Dan - I do not mean risk "number". I mean risk "name".
Prassana - the risk is still in "draft". Both name and description fields greyed out.
I just noticed the problem is specifically with risks that have the "Inherit from risk statement" box checked. When I first created these risks, I was able to modify the risk name (adding a few extra words for further clarity to the inherited name), but once saved I can no longer change.

@carlosgaspa ok so your risk is inherited from the risk statement hence you are not able to edit ..which should be normal behaviour
