Hi all,
I’ve added a new section (sys_ui_section) to a record form for table sn_compliance_policy_exception.
The section:
exists in sys_ui_section
is assigned to View = Workspace
has the correct table (sys_name = sn_compliance_policy_exception)
is visible on the classic form when using the Workspace view
However, when I open the same record in Workspace, the new section is not rendered.
In UI Builder I can see that the record page still resolves and renders only 8 sections, exactly the original OOTB ones. My newly added section does not appear, even though it is present in the list for the Workspace view and structurally matches the OOTB sections.
It looks like Workspace / UI Builder is not dynamically picking up additional sys_ui_section records and continues to use a cached or predefined section set.
Has anyone encountered this behavior?
Is Workspace limited to a fixed number of sections?
Is there a cache or UX Form configuration that overrides sys_ui_section even when classic Workspace view is used?
Is adding sections via sys_ui_section unsupported for Workspace and only UX Forms are respected?
Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

none I know of. It's out of the box "compliance workscpace" I didn't change anything in ui builder yet. I believe that changing view should be sufficient. The only difference I can see is on section record itself:
sys_name of out of the box ones is set to table name but ones I create sets this field autimatically to caption field instead. Do you think this may affect?

@JakubP580814146 As a last Check if the Fields present in this section are not having any ACL's Restricting them
And also check any UI policies running which are hiding sections
