TPRM - Contract Table for Documents

We are currently working on moving to TPRM.  Today we use the contract_ast table to store general contract details. When we migrate to TPRM, can we use the contract_ast table for the Documents to Contract functionality?

Hi @DOpoku

Refer this doc:  Accessing DD requests that are in the contract risk process

Accessing DD requests that are in the contract risk process

Post migrating to ServiceNow Third-party Risk Management (TPRM), you can use the Contract[ast_contract]  table for Documents to Contract functionality, as it is the standard table for storing contract information.

As per How ServiceNow TPRM simplifies vendor contract management

If you're still juggling spreadsheets to manage vendors and contracts, it’s time to modernize. ServiceNow TPRM delivers the structure, automation, and insight to reduce third-party risk at scale, no matter how complex your vendor landscape.

Thank you so much! This was very helpful.

As for the Accessing DD requests that are in the contract risk process...I had reviewed this document process before posting.

In my sandbox instance I can see the Documents, I can create a document but I do not have the steps provided in "Actions on the Documents Page" where it says you can create new contract "New" and then the next section has how to manage the contract process.

Do you think that maybe our Sandbox instance does not have the contract table configured to be used from the Documents section of TPRM for a Third Party or on an Engagement?

Hi @DOpoku ,

Check this documentation: Managing the contract risk process

You can understand how contract risk process has been handled by backend flow/workflow for TPRM.

At form level , only a checkbox is available Skip contract risk process
