Can't add Child Topics in Employee experience taxonomy application (Lab. 4.1)

Hi @all

i am doing the lab. 4.1 of the ITSM Implementer workbook (IT Service Management (ITSM) Implementation - Tokyo). 

1. I entered the "Employee expereince taxonomy application scope.

2. I added a new Topic, but i can't add Child topics to that topic, there is now "New" button on the related list... why?

Hello @Artur Schulz ,

When you're adding the topic, please make sure your application scope is selected as "Employee Experience Taxonomy." And also check the "List Control" of the "Child Topic", The "Omit edit button" should be unchecked. Only then will you be able to see the edit button.

OR

Go to Topics (topic_list) and click on the New button. Create a topic, select taxonomy, and then parent topic and save it. Then you are able to see that topic in the child topic.

Hi, 

I followed your steps and added a child topic to one of my topics. I see it in the table but I do not see it in Employee Center Pro.

It will only show if the child topic you created has a items, quick links, etc.
