Asset Actions and Service Operations Workspace?

Hi all,

 

Am I missing something here? Is there a best-practice approach to integrate Service Operations Workspace (SOW) with HAM Asset Actions (like Update/Repair, Swap, Retire)?

 

I know you can add the columns Asset Action and Swapped CI to the SOW Incident > Related Records > Affected CIs list — but is that really how Service Desk Agents are expected to work? It doesn’t feel intuitive, even with the error message if they forget to select an action. 🤔

 

Has anyone found a way to add these asset actions as UI actions directly on the form itself, so agents don’t have to click through the Affected CIs list? Would love to hear how others are handling this!
