Hi Team,
During the Intune discovery process, approximately 300+ assets were identified and corresponding Configuration Items (CIs) were successfully created.
However, instead of being mapped to the existing asset models within ServiceNow, these assets were associated with newly generated unique models. This has resulted in a misalignment between the discovered assets and the established model framework in ServiceNow, requiring corrective action to ensure proper mapping and consistency across the asset management system.
Any good recommendations?
Thanks,
Vani

Hi @Kokila Vani ,
Correct me if i am wrong , you said intune discovery? by that you mean the SGC-intune right? if that is the case first ci's will be created then respective assets will be created , or else is it a custom integration ,can you clarify this so that i can provide the solution.
Thanks,
Vishnu.

@Kokila Vani Thanks for the clarification , so here is what might have happened :
The SGC-Intune will take both the manufacturer as well as the Model name and create a model while populating it's manufacturer as well, so in your case the new models would have created beacuse the old models might not have the manufacturer populated in them or the present models which are created now would not have manufacturer .
Case1: Old models not having manufacturer and new models are getting the manufacturer , there fore the models get's created,
Case2:New models not having the manufacturer and old models does , so new models get created.
Hope this helps you, Please do mark it as helpful . And accept the solution.
