debug ACL

Hi 

 

Anyone please help me 

I have core_company field reference wherever it is used in my DEV instance with the role is working

The same with role it is hidden in form level in TEST Instance

 

I checked there are read write create ACL'S is same as DEV instance I verified BR , SI, CS 

 

Raised HI TICKET THEY ARE SAYING ANOTHER ACL IS ADDITONALLY ADDED WITH DIFFERENT SCOPE WITH DIFFERENT ROLE THAT IS CAUSING ISSUE

BUT MY APPLICATION IS GLOBAL THE READ ACLS ARE SAME AS DEV SOME ADDITIONAL ROLE WAS ADDED IN ACL

 

ANY SUGGESTION WHY IT IS CAUSING ISSSUE

 

ALSO DO WE HAVE ANY SHORTCUT OF DEBUGGING ACLS OF INDIVIDUAL APPLICATION

can you try using "Access Analyzer" for debugging your ACL. it should help you to know what is restricting.

Besides that your caps lock makes it difficult to read, you can use Access Analyzer, like Satishkumar mentioned, or 'Debug Security' from the navigator.

Next to that: did ServiceNow tell you which ACL was causing the issue and is it resolved if you inactivate it? Then you know for sure that that's the issue, and if not, you can go back to them.

 

You also mention 'some additional role was added in acl'. Where is that role added? On Test? On Dev? Not using punctuation makes it difficult to understand what we have to think of (remember: we don't have access to your instance, we need to provide help based on the information you provide).
