Does Anyone Know How to Make Asset Tags Searchable in ServiceNow Global Search

I just completed an import set that maps new assets in ServiceNow and I want the asset tags (part of the import) to be searchable in the global search, so that when deploying the agents can scan the barcode to bring up the asset, change the status + 1-3 other fields and save.  Barcode is working but the assets are not returned. They did not return when I created a UI page either.

 

Does Anyone Know How to Make Asset Tags Searchable in ServiceNow Global Search
