HAM -- Source task is not getting created after zurich upgrade

Hello All,

We have upgraded our system to Zurich version. But before that (on Xanadu version ) in the hardware catalog ordering capability, once quantity is ordered on the Hardware catalog, system flow used to  create a Source Task. Once we source the task, it should go for approvals. But when i am checking same workflow in Zurich version it is stuck in approval. Does this means in Zurich version we need have approval first and then sourcing task would be generated ? 

Could you please help me to understand this issue ?

Hi Naresh,

Did your organization create a request process workflow where the approval would come AFTER the sourcing task?  Most organizations require approval (usually from your direct manager) for any asset acquisition, whether by TO or PO (on the sourcing task).  This is normally the correct way, since if you wait until after the sourcing task, you run the risk of an employee ordering assets, and the sourcing task becomes a process block in an automated process that TO's can do automatically.
