How to map catalog item's Special Instructions variable to comments field in sysapproval_approver

Hi everyone,

I have a catalog item (e.g., LCD) that includes a variable called "Special Instructions" where users can enter free-text input at the time of submitting the request.

I want to automatically copy the value entered in this variable into the comments field of the sysapproval_approver record (i.e., when an approval is generated for the request).

However, the comments field is not getting populated.

Can anyone suggest:

• The correct way to fetch and use catalog variables in Flow Designer?

Any help or working example would be greatly appreciated!
