This is regarding Reports and Dashboards specifically for IT Assets Management.
I'm wondering if we can filter the overall content of the dashboard using one filter.
I'm not talking about the normal interactive filters.
i'm talking about filtering the initial default presented data in all the widgets included in a dashboard,
I'm asking due to the following reason,
I have a bunch of existing Dashboards, and I have a list of updates to be added to the included reports/widgets to present specific data by default, before using any included interactive filter.
The challenge is that i will have to update a long list of reports in order to complete that task,
For example, I want to exclude a list of assets that were Created By a specific user from all my reports in all my dashboards, and some more criterias that fall under the same scenario.
So i was looking for a way to update the whole thing by adding or updating one breakdown or report or filter or whatever that could be named, that will by default apply the changes to the rest of the reports included in my dashboard,
I read something about Breakdown sources, not sure if that's the one i'm looking for, but i wasn't able to test because i don't have access to create one.
I'm not sure if there is something like that, but I'm thinking loudly and I hope you guys can help me if you have any ideas around it.
