Is anyone using Technology Business Management (TBM) taxonomy to map IT and Business services? Additionally has anyone mapped Epic to the TBM taxonomy?

Anyone integrating ServiceNow with Apptio and using Technology Business Management (TBM) aligned to the new Common Service Data Model (CSDM)? We are new to ServiceNow and want to create our services with this alignment and are looking to network with any health systems that have already done this or are in process of doing so.

I don't have a great answer for you on this (I'm not personally aware of any colleagues from other organizations doing this). That said, I would try posting this question over in the CSDM community as well:
https://community.servicenow.com/community?id=community_forum&sys_id=117d6f4edb35130047c8f3231f96196...
Dunno that you're likely to get an answer on the second half of your question re: Epic, but I think the folks at CSDM would be much more likely to have an answer related to using TBM taxonomy with ServiceNow. cc:

There are two generations of detailed CSDM reference architectures supporting TBM integration with your other system. You can find them on the TBM Council member website (you'll need to become a member first, its free).

Hi there,
I know this post is a little old now, but figured I'd comment in case you're still looking for a solution or if there are others out there with the same questions.
I work for Proven Optics and we have done this with several healthcare organizations. We have an application available on the ServiceNow store for this use case: Proven Optics Cost Model
Our application is able to support many different modeling approaches, including the TBM Taxonomy, and aligns with and follows CSDM best practices. Feel free to reach out directly if you'd like to discuss more or hear about some of the specific things we've done with other healthcare organizations.

Hi Carter,
We (Kaiser Permanente IT) use the Apptio TBM Unified Model (ATUM) as our service taxonomy. Into the standard framework we added recommended branches for Healthcare-Provider and Healthcare-Payer to cover care delivery and insurance/finance. We map applications and catalog items into the services through service offerings. We're looking forward to getting all the services assigned to owners so they can drive rationalization of redundant apps within their services.
