Agentic AI for Growth Experiences: Overview
This article presents a comprehensive overview of agentic AI workflow capabilities offered within Growth Experiences applications in ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD).
Agentic AI within HRSD encompasses a broad range of applications, including case management, employee journeys, development, and recruitment processes. Specifically, in the context of growth experiences, agentic AI use cases are implemented within products designed primarily for managers. These use cases are intended to enhance managerial effectiveness by supporting core people management and team development processes. By assisting managers in key scenarios, these agents contribute to greater efficiency and allow managers to allocate more time to strategic activities.
The following AI agents are available out of the box for Growth Experiences:
- Collect Employee Feedback (Manager persona)
- Help Plan Growth Conversation (Manager persona)
I. Collect Employee Feedback AI Agent
Purpose:
As a manager, use the Employee feedback collection AI agent to collect feedback and track feedback requests. This agent recommends collaborators from Employee Profile, Growth Experiences apps, journeys from Employee Journey Management, and also suggests frequent collaborators from Microsoft Graph.
How it works:
The agent provides collaborator recommendations based on data from Employee Profile, Growth Experiences applications, Employee Journey Management journeys, as well as frequently suggested collaborators identified through Microsoft Graph. Therefore, it is important to ensure that relevant data is available across all these platforms to optimize the effectiveness of collaborator recommendations. AI Agent picks the feedback templates created by admins and allows manager to share it with collaborators. The feedback received can be viewed on demand in a summarized form as well as individual raw feedbacks.

Prerequisites & Dependency:
- For the Employee feedback collection agent to work, you need to have the Now Assist for HR Service Delivery (HRSD) plugin which will install Now Assist for Talent and HR Talent AI Agent Collection.
- To enable Microsoft Graph suggestions you must configure the Microsoft Exchange Online and the Look up Relevant Users action.

I. Help plan growth conversation AI Agent
Purpose:
Managers can use Growth Conversations AI agent to enhance employee growth discussions. These agents help collect essential information about talent activities and journeys, delivering a concise, organized summary that allows managers to prepare quickly and efficiently. By also providing data-driven talking points, each growth conversation becomes targeted, insightful, and productive.
How it works:
This agent enables managers to schedule and prepare for growth conversations with direct reports by picking up existing meetings or scheduling new ones. It gathers employee activity data to provide a clear summary for the manager, updates conversation agendas with relevant talking points, and minimises manual work, saving managers valuable time.

Prerequisites & Dependency:
To use the Growth Conversations AI agent, ensure you're running version 3.5.2 (or higher) of the Career Conversations application and have the Now Assist for HR Service Delivery (HRSD) plugin installed, which also provides access to the Now Assist for Talent and HR Talent AI Agent Collection.
