Can a Requestor Add a User to a HR Case "watch list"?

Hi Folks,

I am new to HRSD, but have worked ITSM. For HR cases, is there an OOTB way for a requestor to specify someone[s] to be added to a watch list on the case?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Jon

You can do this by modifying the HR Case Header Configuration for the opened for/approver to view to include the Watchlist.

Most OOB services use the same default view

If you open that record, you can then Add the watchlist to the Person row tab

It should then show up in the ticket header

Most HR services use the same views for the opened for/approver view, so you only need to change it in one place.  If you need to create a service specific header view, you can  go to HR Administration --> Service Portal --> HR Case Header Configuration to create a custom version and then apply it to the services that can have the watchlist modified by the end user.

Hello Jon,

The behavior is the same between ITSM and HRSD when it comes to Watch list. Click the Edit Watch List icon to add users, if this is not present then you will need to add the field to the form. Below shows the steps to take to add Beth Anglin to the watch list.
