Can we use global variable sets in different applications

Hi all,

Can we use global variable sets in different applications. I have to use certain variable sets whose application is global and I am creating a record producer in HR core application, so can I use the variable sets in global application in Humar resources application record producer or should I need to create new updates sets and variables here?

Yes, We can use Global variable sets in different application Record producer. The scripts and policies which are applicable to that global variable set will work in your record producer. 

I have used a variable set of Global application in the order guide which is in LifeCycle Event application. It works perfectly, even the scripts written on that variable set will work.
