Checklist Administration record unaccessible to users

I have created a checklist record in the Checklist Administration table, where the record belongs to the Universal Task application scope and the source table is set to the Universal Task table.

However, users with the sn_hr_core.checklist_administration_user role are unable to access or view this specific record. The read/wrire ACL is configured for this role.

I have already checked for:

  • Any Query Business Rules

  • Any conflicting ACLs

Everything appears to be fine, yet the issue persists specifically for records in the Universal Task scope.

Could anyone help identify what might be causing this access issue?

Hi @Akashdeep Singh

This issue is caused by a cross-scope data access restriction. The checklist record is in the Universal Task scope, but the user is accessing it using a role from the Human Resources: Core scope .

To resolve this, you must authorize the HR scope to read the Checklist Administration records created by the Universal Task scope.

Create a  Restricted Called Access privileges   Record with proper details and save it.
  1. Navigate to System Applications > Application Restricted Caller Access.
  2. Create a New record.
