Contextual Side Bar is not showing any option in HR agent workspace

Initially at a glance was not appearing so we have repaired the HR workspace plugin. After the plugin upgrade all the options are missing. But on the other instance everything is working fine. What is the configuration which is missing here?

Hi Buddy,

If the options disappeared after repairing upgrading the HR Workspace plugin its usually not a single “missing setting” but something that didnt reapply during the repair from my experience. The workspace shell loads, but the experience configuration, roles, or page components often dont come back the same way.

A few things to check:

  • Confirm the HR Workspace experience is still active and published under Workspaces/UI Builder.

  • Compare user roles with the working instance HR roles and workspace access roles in particular. Test once with admin to rule this out quickly.

  • Open the HR Workspace in UI Builder and verify pages, components, and data resources are still mapped — repairs sometimes detach them.

  • Compare installed HR-related plugins and versions between the working and non-working instances to make sure dependencies are aligned.

  • Run any HR post-upgrade/fix scripts if available.

Best quick comparison is: working instance vs Prod -  roles, workspace experience config, and plugin state. One of those is usually where the gap is after a plugin repair.
