Document Tasks and Assignment Groups

Hi Experts,

 

I had a question on the below product documentation, which in short allows you to upload a PDF file and capture e-signatures from multiple participants. Per the doc, I was able to set it up so that the Documents Task get assigned to the individual "Assigned to" level. However, has anyone found a way to assign the task to an assignment group instead?   I do see a column specifically for assignment groups, but per the attached screenshot, there seems to be some ACLs around it, and I'm not able to call assignment groups from the Document task template either.

 

You'd like this makes more sense from an redundancy aspect so that we're not relying on 1 person to provide an e-signatures for a team.

Hi Eddie,

We're having a similar requirement.

In a way it is normal that a 'signature' task needs to be performed by an individual and not a group.

However, there is an issue when participants are not executing their document task - for one reason or another (being on holidays, LTA, ...)

- granular delegation does not work for document tasks

- document tasks cannot be re-assigned

If you come up with a solution, I would be interested

Has anyone found a way to add an assignment group rather than individual assignments?
