Document Templates of PDF Type in HR Agent Workspace

Hi,

Are agents able to generate document templates of PDF type in the Agent Workspace for HR. The document template and document template category are filled out. If the agent is in the HR Agent Workspace, they do not have the Preview document UI action. This UI action is only available in the legacy view.

If the document template is of type HTML, then the agent does have the Preview document UI Action.

Are document templates of type PDF able to be used in the HR Agent Workspace?

I'm having the same issue. 
I can use HR Document Templates both HTML and PDF in HR Agents Workspace, but since the latter will get deprecated and Document Templates have more features, would like to migrate to Document Templates, but cannot find a way to Preview/Generate a Document Template PDF (HTML works fine, same as you say).

Hi AijaRe, 

We ended up using Document Templates of HTML type. I later found in the docs website a note that indicates that "Templates of type HTML are only supported to be used for the Document templates."

@Giuliana Martin @AijaRe If you haven't found the answer yet, I recommend you to check the Preview document UI Action configuration and see if it is allowed to be shown on the workspace. If this doesn't work raise a case with ServiceNow support to get their opinion on this matter.

Check if you are able to see the UI Action if the HR Case is assigned to you. 
Otherwise check if the "Workspace Form Button" checkbox on the UI Action is selected.
