Hello - 

For those that have manual interview management in the Employee Relations module; do your agents generally type the interview directly in ServiceNow as it's happening or document in Microsoft Word for example & then upload it as an attachment to the interview record? Thank you in advance.

Direct in ServiceNow: Keeps notes secure, auditable, and tied to the record, but can feel distracting during interviews.

Word/Notepad then upload: More flexible for agents, but adds extra steps and risks storing sensitive data outside ServiceNow.

Hybrid (most common): Agents jot notes outside for speed, then enter the official summary in ServiceNow and attach raw notes if needed.

In practice, the final/official record is almost always kept in ServiceNow for compliance and reporting.
