Hi All,
After an hr case has become inactivated then the activity section should be closed for the end user on the portal . Any idea on how to achieve this.

Hello @kali -
When you say "should be closed for the end user", are you referring to the information that is displayed from the Activity section? Or, are you referring to the option to no longer allow the end user to post a comment in the Activity section?
If you are looking to remove the Activity section once a case is close complete, what is the reason to remove that section? Trying to get more of an understanding if you could provide that.

When the hr case has become inactiveated (false ) then we want to remove the option for end users to post comments , as they should raise a new hr case if they have queries.

Understood!
So for this, something easy you can do is change the write ACL(s) for the HR Case Table.
I just did this to be sure, and it worked for me when I impersonated a regular employee having only the internal role.
And here is a case that is active:
Give this a try and see if this works as you need it to.
