Finding HR Cases in HR Service Portal

Hi,

As per documentation, I should be able to navigate through HR cases assigned to me (and other criteria) via Employee Service Center (HR Service Portal), I'm unable to find this. Can anyone please help me what I'm missing here?

Instance: Kingston (Personal developer)

User: System Administrator

I can see how that documentation is a bit confusing.

We generally encourage HR Practitioners to use the Platform view of ServiceNow for case fulfillment.

I do believe that documentation is referring to the platform view, as the listed "ways to search" correspond to the Modules in the HR Case Management application menu.  See image:

The HR Portal does give that Cases menu item.  It is a quick view of Cases, but not as configurable as indicated.  

My guidance is to use the HR Portal / Employee Service Center for case submissions (from Employee/Workers) and use the Platform view for HR Fulfillment (HR Agents / Practitioners).

Do you have the plugin - Human Resources Scoped App: Service Portal - active? That should give you the HR Portal.

Yes, I've access to portal and I can see other things. I'm unable to figure out how to go to Cases assigned to me on portal. I can access it through application but not from portal.

Strange that it's not working out of the box, and I tried it in my personal instance. The cases should show under To Dos.

yeah, i'm going through all these catalogs and found 2 issues. Another issue is for onboarding tasks assigned to new user and they have to e-sign documents.

I'll update this thread if I find a solution.
