Has anyone successfully integrated the Glean Enterprise Search tool with ServiceNow ECP and set Glean as the default search experience instead of Now Assist?
I'm interested in hearing about any lessons learned, along with the pros and cons of making Glean Search the default. Our goal is to enable searches across multiple platforms (Jira, Asana, Confluence, Intranet, Google Drive), which is why we're considering Glean.
Is this setup possible? If so, what should we watch out for, and what are the benefits or drawbacks you’ve encountered? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

We're also performing POC around the same. Let me know if you have started the using it and your experience.
Btw - were you able to connect Glean with ServiceNow easily? As per the setup instructions, it seems they're using OAuth using Password based credentials but there is no option to enter service account password in the Glean setup page. We're in touch with the support team but they're taking forever.

Hi @Sidd Porchezhiy,
Yes, I was able to develop a custom widget using Glean’s Web SDK:
https://developers.glean.com/libraries/web-sdk/overview
You can create a widget and embed it into portal pages, especially if you're replacing the out-of-the-box ServiceNow search with Glean.
Glean’s enterprise search is quite powerful—it can search across multiple sources like Confluence, Jira, intranet portals, and more. One key advantage is that it respects ServiceNow knowledge article user criteria, so users only see content they’re permitted to access.
