How to attach a workflow for a knowledge article ?

Hello Team ,

 

I have one article that is in published state , could anyone suggest how to attach a workflow for that knowledge article ?

not sure if you would add a workflow to one article or establish a workflow with conditions that can be triggered for many articles over time- typically you would right click the actual record of the kb  and see if you have a configure workflow option- there may be a workflow already there that u can modify or you may create a new one for that table.

Hi @Angel27 ,

Workflow which are attached in your knowledge base are Instant publish & Retire. OOB I don't think they have approvals configured for both of them. If you need a Approval in between Draft and before the article gets published , you need to create a Custom Workflow or modify the existing OOB one.



You   may also update your Publish Workflow field in   Knowledge Base to "Knowledge - Approval Publish"   which is an OOB workflow having Approval activity as shown below:
