Hi everyone,
I have a requirement in Agent Workspace to increase the height of the Description field.
Currently, the Description field has a limited height, so when a user enters a long description, they need to scroll within the field to view the content.
Requirement: The Description field should display more lines of content, preferably expanding based on the content entered, without the user having to manually resize the field.
Is there any OOTB configuration available in Agent Workspace to achieve this?
If not, what would be the recommended approach to achieve this using UI Builder or any other supported configuration?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Hi,
It depends on the field type you are using.
If this is a standard textarea rendered through Workspace, the now-textarea component supports auto-resize and a configurable height/row limit. If you are building the field through UI Builder, you can use the component's auto-resize properties.
If this is the HRSD rich_description field, you can use the TinyMCE autoresize configuration instead:
Go to System Properties >> All Properties and find glide.ui.html.editor.v5.enabled_plugins.
Add autoresize to the property value.
Open the dictionary record for sn_hr_core_case.rich_description and, under Attributes, add:
editor.plugins=autoresize
This allows the rich text field to expand as the content grows.
If you only want a fixed larger height, you can also use the HTML field's editor.height dictionary attribute instead.
