HR Profile and Job Framework

Hi,

We are busy enabling the HRSD Enterprise module, and want to ensure we have all our current HR Profiles mapped back to a Job Profile. We have created our Job Families, Job Profiles, and have created all the HR Profiles. What is the recommended way to map the HP Profile back to a Job Profile, is the right way to map this to create a Position / Job for each of the HR Profiles, and mapping that to a Job Profile?

As we onboard new employees, this will then also be against the Position / Job that is mapped to the Job Profile, and once a candidate is hired, their HR Profile will be against the specific Position / Job profile?

Hi,

Thank you for this, it certainly did help. When it comes to multiple Jobs per HR profile, is there a way to restrict when the Employment start / end dates are aligned to the Job records. If the new job is as a result of an internal promotion, then the employment did not end so the first Job start date is essentially still the right employment start date, only the new Job start date should be updated?
